Terms of Service - Storywell

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Storywell, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for activity performed using your account.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

3. Your Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of manuscripts, worldbuilding data, and other content you submit to Storywell. You grant Storywell a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service.

4. Collaboration and Sharing

Storywell supports editor invitations and viewer links. You are responsible for who you invite or share with and for managing permissions appropriately for your project data.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not use Storywell for unlawful activity or to violate others’ rights.
Do not attempt to disrupt platform availability, security, or performance.
Do not upload malicious code or content intended to harm users or systems.

6. AI Features

Storywell may provide AI-assisted features, including extraction and summarization. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by you before publication or reliance.

7. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. During beta, functionality may change frequently and availability is not guaranteed.

8. Termination

You may stop using Storywell at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if required by law, or to protect the platform and users.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

Storywell is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storywell disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
